Seizaho

A calmness of mind which is immovable but quick to respond to all eventualities is developed by Seizaho. Sitting quietly and letting the mind settle without attaching to any passing thoughts adds to our ability to be calm during the most volatile of circumstances. There is no time to think when an attack comes so we need to be able to cultivate a mind which can respond without thought. With practise we find ourselves able to respond to events without reacting first. Calmness of mind and efficient speed of action are related.
