The nature of Aikido allows relationships to be formed. This would, of course, be socially, as being within an international organisation, give us the opportunity to form bonds with people of varying culture and lifestyles. But also, with Aikido, we have to make physical contact with others to practise, which helps to keep the relationships real.

Also there are many examples of people still actively practicing well into their seventies. These are people who are just practicing regularly and earnestly, which has been enough for them to maintain good health.
